The Living Sisters

Er heeft zich weer een nieuwe supergroep gevormd. Eleni Mandell, Inara George (The Bird and the Bee) en Becky Stark (Lavender Diamond) gaan tegenwoordig door het leven als The Living Sisters. Op 30 maart van dit jaar zal hun debuutalbum "Love to Live" in de schappen liggen. Het album is geproduceerd door Sheldon Gomberg (de vierde living sister). Mandell heeft inmiddels al 7 albums op haar naam staan die gekenmerkt worden door haar jazzy stemgeluid. George en Stark zijn nog niet zo lang actief maar hebben beide reeds hun sporen verdiend. Naast haar solowerk en haar albums met Greg Kurstin als The Bird and the Bee heeft George onder andere samengewerkt met Van Dyke Parks. Stark is ook te horen op het laatste album van The Decemberists "The Hazards of Love".

L-FM 5 jaar

L-FM bestaat dit jaar alweer 5 jaar. Om dat te vieren hebben alle DJ's een top 30 opgesteld waaruit een top 105 (de ether frequentie) wordt opgesteld. Iedereen kan stemmen en wel hier. Hieronder mijn 30 inzendingen.
